Zonal Sales Manager

We are a leading company in Electronics Distribution, retail and e-commerce. We have recently started LED Lighting business as part of our growth strategy. Within a short span, we have made significant inroads in the industry. The Group is privately owned by one of India's leading business family and has exceptionally strong promoter credentials with access to good quality capital, a long term commitment and an in-depth understanding of the distribution business in india.

The role is of a Zonal Sales Manager for the North and South, and you will drive sales in North Indian states like Delhi NCR, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, UP, HP etc. and South Indian states like Karnataka, Maharashtra,Gujarat,etc. This will be a highly entrepreneurial assignment in which you will have complete ownership of building up a channel, building a team and driving sales for the region.

Your responsibilities will include :

- Drive and manage the sales programs and achieve targets.

- Selection of ASMs for the above states, along with selection of TSMs and SOs.

- Distributor Appointments in the states

- Credit Management of the distributors.

- Designing and executing sales promotional schemes

- Designing and executing Sales Force Incentive Schemes

- Create Annual Plans, budgets & forecasts to achieve business goals

- Map market and sales behavior trends & device Sales strategies.

- Manage Channel, Retail, & distribution to build up visibility and volumes.

- Increase gross additions and to minimize churns across our retail network

- Contribute to decisions around pricing, provisioning, schemes, incentives, processes etc.

- Sets goals, monitor work, and evaluate objectives, results and sales operations.

- Create a training calendar for the Sales team.

- Update the management with progress, achievements, deviations and targets.

Ideal Candidate :

- Should have experience in sales

- MBA in marketing or equivalent degree from premier institute.

- Should have excellent communication and leadership skills

- Prior experience in channel sales in lighting industry is a must

- Willingness to travel
