Job Description:

Key Responsibility:

Business Development:

- Formulating strategies & reaching out to the unexplored market segments for business expansion.

- Exploring new business opportunities through emerging alternate channels.

- Category conversion through innovative and creative Campaigns.

Strategic Planning:

- Establishing zonal strategies for achieving topline & bottom-line targets.

- Business planning and assessing revenue potential within business opportunities.

- Formulating short-term & mid -term Strategies for sustainable growth.

Sales & Marketing:

- Managing the sales and marketing operations for promoting products and accountable for achieving business goals and increasing sales growth.

- Implementing marketing strategies to drive volumes & achieve high profitability.

Relationship Management / Channel Management

- Identifying prospective clients, generating business from the existing clientele

- Building and maintaining Industry partnerships and relationships with relevant stakeholders.

- Interacting with new and upcoming retails channels in order to explore and operationalize new business possibilities.

- Interacting with the clients on a regular basis & providing redressal to all their queries, complaints

Team Management:

- Managing the performance goals of team members and aligning and coaching the team towards achieving the set targets

- Creating and sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters development opportunities and motivates high performance amongst team members.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

- B.Sc (Agriculture)/ M.Sc. (Agriculture) with MBA from reputed B-schools.

- 10 plus years of relevant front-line sales experience; Experience in Millet crop is preferable.

- Excellent customer orientation and knowledge &experience in new business/market development.

- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills (Verbal and written) along with strong commercial acumen

- Dynamic, result oriented with proven track record of leading large teams

- Must possess excellent analytical and reasoning skills and be well-versed with business finance and problem solving techniques

- Honesty, Integrity and Initiative are core values of Godrej group and are key competencies required in a prospective Godrejite.

- Willingness and Flexibility to travel across the country

Zone- North - covering the states of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Part of UP, MP and Haryana
