Administrative Reporting : Regional Sales Incharge

Main Purpose :

To plan and achieve the sales targets of BVM, PPM, ice cream and products through the Milk Shops in the zone in addition to ensure that the Milk Shops are maintained properly

Main Responsibilities (Listed In Order Of Priority) :

- To prepare annual sales targets taking into consideration the business plans and past trends.

- To ensure that the targets are achieved through planning, implementing and reviewing (monthly/weekly/daily) and area wise

- To ensure product availability at the milk shops through monitoring by the Area in charge

- To ensure upkeep of milk shops through monitoring by the Area In charge as well as visiting Milk shops to check the house keeping and merchandising

- To facilitate the Area In charge in preparing and achieving targets, estimating demand, managing concessionaires

- To ensure sales realization from the concessionaires and handle issues related to dishonoured cheques and other discrepancies.

- To liaise with Government authorities (MCD, DDA, Jal Board, BSES/NDPL, Police) with regard to issues connected with the Milk Shops.

- To ensure that customer complaints are attended to and effectively resolved promptly, including approving replacement of product if required.

- To ensure the disposal of expired/ damaged products at the Milk Shops by draining/ destroying the product and arranging refund to the concessionaire if required.

- To ensure implementation of sales promotion activities at the Milk Shops, in co-ordination with the Marketing department.

- To plan Consumer Information Camps and Demonstrations in areas that need to increase sale the zone in co-ordination with the Consumer Information Service Department.

- To participate in selection interviews for concessionaires for the Milk Shops and combined shops in the Zone, conducted in coordination with the DGR.

- To ensure that training is imparted to new concessionaires by the Area in charge, for effective management of the Milk Shops and Customers.

Additional/ Occasional Responsibilities (Listed In Order Of Priority) :

- To organize customer surveys at the Milk Shops and through door-to-door visits by the Area In-charges, as well as for identifying new customers.
