Zonal Head - Operations - South India - Manufacturing - IIM/ISB/XLRI/FMS + IIT/BITS/NSIT (12-15 yrs)
REPORTS TO : National Head
TEAM : Operations
JOB LOCATION : Chennai/Bangalore/Hyderabad
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES :
- This is a Operations leadership role. Person will be responsible for Building and managing a team of Cluster Managers
- Operational excellence improvement and achievement of Operational KPIs
- Execution of operational plans
- Managing daily operations - Pitstop network operations at the cluster level, planning and scheduling, documentation and control
- Operational Unit set up and expansion in the cluster initially
- Ensuring cost control and optimization
- Ensuring compliance and adherence to the systems and processes
- Build, train, manage the team's performance
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education :
- Tier 1 MBA college (IIM, ISB, XLRI, FMS) + Undergraduate from IIT/ Tier-1 engineering colleges (BITs - Pilani, NSIT, DCE) is an advantage
- Min 70% marks through out
Years of experience : 12-15 yrs
Professional attributes :
- Preferred exp- someone who would have managed factory, production
- Experience in having managed and controlled factories in a manufacturing set up
- Hands on experience of implementing systems and processes
- Experience in improving operational KPIs
- Ability to build, manage, train and coach a large ops team (- 100 people at various levels)
- Ability to handle crisis situations

- Outstanding Communication skills
- Ability to work across levels and willingness to get hands dirty
- High energy, drive and ownership
