Zonal Credit Manager(South) for a bank in Chennai

Job Title : Zonal Credit Manager-BL/CC/OD

Reporting To: National Credit Manager

Key Responsibilities:-

1. To Prepare, evaluate the BL/SME lending proposals for Working Capital/Business Loan/CC/OD.

2. The incumbent will be required to appraise proposals (Fresh / Enhancement /Renewal) in keeping with the laid down policy guidelines.

2. To recommend or decision BL/SME Lending proposals as per the product/ policy and as per delegated powers.

3. To ensure portfolio quality for the Product in the location, while maintaining the service levels to the customer (Internal and External).

4. To monitor non starters/Cheque bounce trends, the incumbent will also be required to interact with the customers in the portfolio on an ongoing basis for credit related issues.

5. Maintaining the desired TAT.

6. To visit the prospective customers and get a sense of the actual level of operation.

7. To manage, appoint the local vendors, (legal, RCU and valuation etc).

8. The Incumbent will be required to closely coordinate with the CMs and ACMs to ensure watch-listed, delinquent and exit customers are followed up regularly.

9. To manage team of credit analysts for better productivity and quality.

10. To Train credit analysts and provide them guidance in day to day activities.

11. To maintain adequate knowledge of channels and their sourcing pattern.

12. To ensure Audit compliance and regulatory compliance for the location.

13. Keep Industry and market changes in mind while recommending and approving cases.

14. To take reference checks for prospective borrowers.
