There are 50 MN Small Business Owners in India who are still un-served by Financial Institutions. We believe that through our technology driven underwriting, we will be able to serve this large untapped market segment.

Co-Founder & CEO- Kshitij Puri :

Finance professional with experience across Corporate Banking, Private Equity and Micro Finance. Kshitij was always keen to address the financing needs of Small Business Owners.

Kshitij has worked with ICICI Bank, Bank of America, CarVal Investors. Prior to founding ZipLoan, he was heading the Investments Team at Pragati Fund, an SME focused Private Equity Fund. He is a Chartered Accountant (All-India Rank Holder) and a UCLA Anderson Alumni.

Co-Founder & COO- Shalabh Singhal :

Technophile with interests in new technologies and data science, Shalabh believes small business financing can be cracked in a cost efficient manner using technology and data science.

Prior to founding ZipLoan, Shalabh co-founded a Real Estate start-up that helped people to take data driven decisions in a rather unorganised market. He was earlier working with Goldman Sachs Asset Management Division in New York. He is an engineering graduate from IIT and a Chartered Financial Analyst from CFA Institute, USA.

Job Title : VP- Sales

Job Description :

The VP-Sales will be responsible to build and grow retail loan business at ZipLoan. Responsible for acquisition and achieving numbers along with portfolio quality. Target segment is Business Loans for Self employed- upto INR 5 Lac.

Responsibilities :

- Enable high quality growth for the retail loan business to meet our strategic objective of AUM in the next 3 - 4 years.

- Deliver a profitable Small Business Loan book with immaculate portfolio quality by growing all the revenue pools and business segments

- The role of the VP - Sales requires a deep understanding and hands on experience of unsecured business loans to businesses & Self-Employed professionals as well as industry knowledge & market intelligence.

- Most critical is to have an in-depth understanding of customer needs and design products, processes which deliver differentiated service level.

- This is an individual as well as team contributor role and the candidate must have the ability to work and lead a set of shared resources to deliver and drive exceptional results.

- Executing the defined business strategy to achieve the defined sales and collection targets and exceed the set targets. Creating a demand funnel and alternate channels for lead generation.

- Responsible for managing growth and profitability of the channel.

- Manage to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.

- Establish effective relationships and collaborations with clients.

- Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies.

- Ensures the customer is serviced well and no complaint arises.

- Maintains & Improves turnaround and conversions.

Position requirements :

- 10-12 years of experience in Sales with at least 2 years of handling a Zone.

- MBA/ CA

- Responsiveness, judgment, maturity, integrity, and time management skills are required

Remuneration :

CTC of INR 18-20 Lac. Will not be a constraint for the right candidate. Will also be entitled to the ESOP pool.
