YES Accelerator - Retail Banking Strategy

Job Description :

- YES Accelerators (Y-ACE) is part of the core strategy & execution team and reports to the MD&CEO. Y-ACE formerly known as Business Management, Innovation & Strategy) is one of the oldest groups in the Bank and has played crucial role since the very inception of the bank

Brief Focus areas are :

- In-charge of strategic initiatives in Retail Liabilities and Branch Banking, specifically in terms of CA and Trade Forex. Develop short/ mid-term strategy including change management and organization development, process improvement, performance management & reviews

- Work with all Business/Support/Product/Channel Management functions to strategize and deliver on larger Bank Objectives including but not restricted to Branch Network, Product and Program Strategy, Marketing and Sales Management etc

- Analyzing trends on Business performance across geography / channels / products with definitive suggestions for strategy formulation and decision making

- Evaluate various external and internal research articles, news, reports, and regulations to support strategy formulation and provide recommendations to MD & CEO

- Liaise with Corporate relationship group heads to identify Corporate-Retail synergies for quick business conversions - Converting corporate WINS into retail business development

- Act as a Bouncing board / Strategic Advisor to the Branch Banking Business, Product & Support Functions

- Explore innovative business opportunities, new initiatives, channels etc. basis on inputs from internal and external stakeholders to take the business into a new trajectory of scale

- Work on various special/strategic/confidential projects with the MD&CEO from time to time and ensure implementation of projects as per MDs directions

- The above is a representative of the typical focus area and the role would evolve depending on the strategic needs of the bank with an end objective of building relationship capital thereby ensuring balanced growth in balance sheet & P&L

- The role offers a very good understanding and insight into the functioning of the bank as well as an opportunity to work with the Founder/MD&CEO and other top management in the bank. This high impact role paves way to a fast tracked career growth to deserving & well performing individuals.

Requirement - Qualification & Background :

- CA or MBA from Tier I institute with 5-10 years of Post MBA experience preferably in a Bank or a Consultancy firm (Banking domain)

- Experience with CA and Trade Forex portfolios

- Excellent analytical and logical skills

- Candidate should be hands on and execution oriented, with an ability to think through ambiguous situations and should have the ability & persona to interact with senior/top management executives within and outside the bank

- Very Strong inter-personal and presentation skills are a must
