Yes Bank - Sr VP - Business Management Innovation & Strategy - Financial Management

The group functions through 4 teams - aligned along the Strategic Objectives of the Bank namely - Corporate Businesses, Liabilities & Branch Banking, Strategic Control functions and other Support functions of the Bank. The current opportunities are available in the BMIS team aligned to strategic support functions

Focus Area of the BMIS Team.

- Works closely with the Business Heads / Function heads on the planning, strategy development and execution of the same.

- Work on various special/strategic/confidential projects with the MD&CEO from time to time.

- Act as a Bouncing board / Strategic Advisor to the aligned Functions.

- The role offers a very good understanding and insight into the overall functioning of the bank/across the bank as well as an opportunity to work with the Founder/MD&CEO and other top management in the bank. This high impact role paves way to a fast tracked career progression & growth within the bank, to the deserving & well performing individuals.

Focus Area of the Specific Role within the Team

- As part of the BMIS team, we are looking at an excellent candidate to closely work with Financial Management team of the Bank.

- The key focus of work will be institutionalizing effective strategic planning and budgeting process, work on forward looking projects to enhance business analytics capabilities.

- The candidate will also be responsible for developing cost optimization and management framework for the Bank.

Key Skills:

- MBA from Tier I institute / CA (first attempt). 7-10 years experience in a professional business environment preferably in a bank / top consulting company.

- Conceptual & hands on working experience of banking performance management framework/Reporting / Business Analytics. Preferably experience across all dominant bank businesses - Branch Banking, Consumer asset, Corporate Banking Businesses and Treasury.

- Understanding & experience on bank level Budgeting and variance analysis. Experience of driving cost efficiency / optimization projects.

- Experience on profitability analysis of Banking products in Corporate Lending, Trade Services, Treasury etc

Candidate should be hands on and execution oriented, with an ability to think through ambiguous and unstructured situations, ability to deep dive to understand problems and should have the ability & persona to interact with senior/top management executives within and outside the bank. Strong communication and presentation skills.
