About the Team

Business Management, Innovation & Strategy (BMIS) is part of the core strategy & execution team and reports to the MD & CEO. BMIS is one of the oldest groups in the Bank and has played crucial role since the very inception of the bank.

The group functions through 4 teams – aligned along the Strategic Objectives of the Bank namely – Corporate Businesses, Liabilities & Branch Banking, Strategic Control functions and other Support functions of the Bank. The current opportunities are available in the BMIS team aligned to strategic support functions (Risk Management, Audit, Compliance and overall governance of the Bank).

Brief focus areas of the BMIS team:

- Works closely with the Business Heads / CRO / Function heads on the planning, strategy development and execution of the same. Depending on the lifecycle of the business, the role involves a mix of developing short/ midterm strategy for the team including go-to market, change management and organization development, process improvement, budgeting, performance management & reviews.

- Work on various special/strategic/confidential projects with the MD&CEO from time to time. Ensure alignment to institutional goals in partner teams and prepare business analysis & reporting and recommendations to the MD/CEO.

- Market review and competitor analysis of developments / new trends in different SBU – products, processes, innovations etc.

- Act as a Bouncing board / Strategic Advisor to the aligned Functions

- The team also actively involves in various Management as well as Board Level committees like RMC, ALCO, ORMC, Steering Committee etc.

The role offers a very good understanding and insight into the overall functioning of the bank/across the bank as well as an opportunity to work with the Founder/MD&CEO and other top management in the bank. This high impact role paves way to a fast tracked career progression & growth within the bank, to the deserving & well performing individuals.

Requirement: Qualification & Background:

- MBA from Tier I institute, preferably a BE/B Tech.

- 1- 4 years of Post MBA experience.

- Post MBA experience preferably in a Bank (either in a sales/line function or corporate planning/strategy role) or in a Consultancy firm (Banking domain exposure).

- Deep understanding and experience in any of mentioned areas will be preferred - Risk Management / Internal Audit / Regulatory Framework across Corporate Banking / Retail Banking / Financial Markets

- Candidate should be hands on and execution oriented, with an ability to think through ambiguous and unstructured situations, ability to deep dive to understand problems and should have the ability & persona to interact with senior/top management executives within and outside the bank. Strong communication and presentation skills.
