Your Responsibilities will include:  - To prepare and review Insurance Premium Tax returns for European Business Units.  - To prepare Value Added Tax (VAT) / Goods and Service Tax (GST) returns for European and Asian entities.   - To monitor and control the indirect tax balances in the books of accounts through reconciliation process.  - To streamline the processes and generate efficiency.  - To support manager in transition of Europe and Asia indirect tax compliance work to India.  - To support the team in performing their job by resolving their technical queries and highlight their training requirements.  - Proactive business partnering and advice.  - To support the Supervisor in analyzing the taxes processed by the other teams and suggest for possible process improvements.  - Assist the London based team in the swift resolution of any tax authority enquiries.   - To support the Manager in the various ad hoc projects including tax research.  We are looking for someone who has these values, abilities and skills:  - CA with 2-3 years of experience in taxation or MBA with 5-6 years of indirect tax experience.  - Good communication & interpersonal skills.  - Strong Information Technology skills (Microsoft Excel).  - Organized, methodical, able to deal effectively with multiple priorities and do multitasking.  - Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.  - Knowledge of an ERP package (particularly PeopleSoft) is preferable.
