Hi I am Prasad, don't let my INSEAD MBA fool you I've been a lifelong entrepreneur and problem solver, this is my story:  And could India have a bigger problem than its poor employability. It's unacceptable that in a nation of a billion, only 10% of our graduates were employable, just 10%! India's employability problem stems from trying to paint every learner with the same brush, without understanding how and what s/he wants to learn.   The world today looks nothing like the world 50 years ago. Hell it looks nothing like the world 20 or even 10 years ago. Technology has changed the way we shop, the way we eat, the way we travel (and look for houses - ). But think back to your school days; are the schools today any different from the one you went to or the one your father went to- For some reason the school has stood still while the world around it transformed. Is it any wonder then that this school is delivering students who are unprepared to face the reality of the dynamic world.  We are here to change that. We sought to challenge the status quo with Vishwajyot School Navi Mumbai (Vishwajyot) 10 years ago. We hacked our way into the labs of neurobiologists and cognitive scientists to design a superb learning program, which understands each learner and personalizes the instruction to his/her interests and capabilities. We- ve started on a journey to build scale and it's been one of the most exhilarating but terrifying period of our lives. Amrut and I haven- t had a day off since he got back from his MBA at Duke, but all the little achievements keep us going. Our ability to personalize learning has enabled us to learn that Samarth (1.5 years), though initially very cranky, loves stories and 6 months on he is happily coming to school learning through stories and relaying them to his grandfather. Raj who was painfully shy went on to compete and win a nationally televised dance reality show. Our 400 learners in the small town of Phaltan (whose commute to a school we cut by 60 km/day) within 6 months were talking, playing and thinking in English! Our model is working! We now have 34 schools/preschools in total and are pushing the pace to set up 40 new schools in the next few months! Why preschool- I challenge you and your 3-year-old niece to learn Japanese and when she starts kicking your ass you'll have your answer.   The plan is to accelerate the pace a few more notches - get bigger, better, faster! Schools are only the start, we will use our schools as beachheads to give us a local presence and tackle the problem of employability through a variety of products and technologies which we are developing. Our sights are set on having 100,000 learners working with us till 2020. Yep, challenging is an understatement, and as our Angel Investor & Advisor Srikant Datar (Sr. Associate Dean Harvard Business School) says - we need some equally crazy people to make it happen!   Our Angel Investors Ashish Arora (Duke University) Raja Parthasarathy( Morgan Stanley) Amitabh Arora ( Citigroup) have always pushed us to hire an excellent team. Heeding their advice we- ve hired a management team comprising of CXO's, Brand Managers, and entrepreneurs from leading schools like ISB, IIM and S P Jain. We- ve also hired a fantastic academic team from IIT, TFI, APU and TISS. Over the last year they have been on field, pushing a manic growth rate which would have otherwise been impossible.  To achieve great things, we need more awesome people (were little over 2000 people at the moment) and that's why we're back. We are looking for an EIR Marketing, to bolster our marketing efforts. You will be working directly with the Director - Sales and Marketing.   We are looking for someone who is strategic in thought and fantastic at execution. Our EIR Marketing must satisfy the following criteria:   Experience : Worked a minimum of 1-3 years in Brand Management.   Positioning and Differentiating :   - Understands brand positioning, and is able to effectively position and differentiate Wunderbar Kids in a cluttered pre-school market.   Market Research :   - Must be the expert on our consumers their decision making process and their varied needs (based on geography, demographics and lifestyle)   Marketing & Media Planning :  - Must be able to develop savvy marketing plans & manage the cross functional implementation to drive demand.   Communications :   - Understands overall communication process. Must be able to work with external / internal stakeholders to lead complete ATL/ BTL process   Digital Marketing :   - Understands online marketing. Must be able to lead online efforts by optimizing SEO, SEM and FB.   - However be warned, whatever your previous experience may be, you'll have more than one hat on and these hats will depend more on the company requirements and your abilities than on your area of specialisation! Let's chat about what rocks your boat. Chart out your own path so that you may one day become the CEO. What's not negotiable is having fun!   - You'll be responsible to lead a team, contribute to the noise at the boardroom during brainstorming sessions, establish processes and systems & ensure the deliverable takes place on-time, on-budget and is simply the best.
