DGM Operation Excellence  About the organization :  Writer Corporation has been in existence more than 60 years. There are four lines of business - relocation, information management, cash management and realty.  Key responsibilities :  - Drive execution of key Group projects through strong Program Management Office (PMO). The Group projects are of various types viz. New Business/Product Venture, Business Expansion, Business Turnaround, Technology, HR Transformation, Shared Services, Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), Branding, Risk etc.   This will include the following :   - Gaining in-depth understanding of business strategy, project goals and objectives.  - Mapping action plans, stakeholders, timeline, costs and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with baseline/targets.  - Regularly monitoring timelines, costs and KPIs against targets and periodic reporting through trackers and dashboards.  - Organizing and participating in project meetings at all levels with thought / analyses / fact based value adding inputs.  - Presenting analyses of root causes of project delays, overruns and under performance and seek stakeholder buy-in on catch up plans.  - Coordinating, follow up and escalating to appropriate stakeholders to ensure quality, cost and KPIs of the project are met.  - Deploying high quality Project Governance practices.  - Drive application writing, assessment and execution of initiatives identified under the ongoing Malcolm Baldrige Business Excellence program in the businesses and functions. Writer Corporation is one of the winners of IMC RBNQA 2015.   - The role will also entail rolling out initiatives identified through the RBNQA feedback report.  - Identify, undertake and deliver Quality and Process Improvement, BPR and Six Sigma projects in the businesses and functions aimed at meeting business challenges, rolling out new businesses / products or achieving business efficiencies and optimization.   - This will involve in depth understanding of business strategy, goals and challenges and identification and application of innovative thought based problem solving techniques and solutions.  - Govern quality of documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in the businesses and functions to ensure that they are kept updated, relevant and exhaustive as per stipulated format in the Documented Process Management System (DPMS).   - Drive development of Quality, Process and Business Excellence capabilities and culture across businesses and functions through periodic application based training, knowledge management and cross pollination of best practices across the group.  - Enhance and drive the Ideation culture through spearheading Writer Ideation System for Excellence (WISE). This would involve enhancing adoption of WISE system, increasing the inflow of number of high quality ideas, processing the ideas with concerned stakeholders, driving implementation through a tight PMO process and developing a strong Reward & Recognition system.  - Develop and manage relationships and closely work with consultants and stakeholders towards accomplishing project goals in a collaborative manner.   Qualifications :  Mandatory : BE and/or MBA from a reputed institute   Certifications such as PMP, Malcolm Baldrige Assessors - Program or equivalent, Six Sigma Black Belt is definitely an added advantage  Knowledge :  - Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, RBNQA, 7QC tools, Business Process Re-engineering is mandatory  - Experience of 10-15 yrs in relevant area/ domain.   - The said DGM role is a horizontal that cuts across all our business verticals.  Reporting :  - The role will report to Head Center of Excellence  Dr. Srikanth P.B. 7506389017
