Brief Posting Description:

- Wood Group, a global Oil & Gas Services company would like to resource an Oracle HRMS and Payroll Functional Analyst.

- We are currently sourcing for an Oracle HRMS/ Payroll Functional Analyst to join our team in Gurgaon, India.

- Joining the company's Oracle EBS Support team, you'll be tasked to provide Oracle functional Support focusing on Oracle HRMS and Payroll. The role will be primarily supporting a number of Middle East and Australian Payrolls but may also cover some others for UK employees. This is a fixed location permanent role based in our Gurgaon off in India with very limited need for travel.

- This is an excellent opportunity for an Oracle Functional professional to move into a role where as part of a professional team, you will provide support to large and growing organisation.

Main duties and responsibilities :

- To provide reactive support to users for the Oracle HRMS applications suite, in particular Oracle payrolls being used for Middle East, Australia and Azerbaijan WG locations

- Functional problem investigation and resolution

- Management of change requests through the software development lifecycle

- Management of SR's with Oracle, enhancing their ability to provide a fix with rapid response timescales, and intelligent problem investigation

- Management of testing and implementation lifecycles, through to go live, and business stakeholder signoff

- Support any data cleansing and mapping activities

- To develop, configure and manage testing of new payrolls as required by the business including any regression testing of existing solutions

- To remain abreast of the latest patches, to ensure that our EBS instance is kept up to date with these patches, in order that they comply with latest legislation, and are prepared for patching cycles

- To be aware of latest functionality developments, identifying potential configuration opportunities that would benefit our business

- To be responsible for identifying and undertaking training and personal development to meet business needs

- To fulfill, on occasions, other reasonable duties which may be required to be undertaken as part of a global support team, in order to meet business and customer needs

- To undertake any other reasonable duties, commensurate with the level of the post so as to ensure the smooth running of the company

Person specification - Knowledge / Experience / Skills / Qualities

Essential :

- 2+ years Oracle Payroll implementation experience or 3+ years Oracle Payroll support experience

- Configuration of Fast Formula, Occupational Absence schemes, Accrual Plans, Enhanced Retropay, Proration and other advanced payroll configuration and customisations

- Knowledge of current Middle East and Australian payroll legislation including tax, Statutory Payments and future changes

- SQL skills and a strong understanding of the HRMS schema

- Commitment to delivering the highest standards of customer care

- Proven ability to build and manage customer relationships

- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels of the business

Desirable :

- Experience working with these HRMS modules: Core HR, OTL, OLM, iRecruitment, Compensation Workbench, Self Service, Discoverer, OBIEE

- Good functional/technical problem investigation skills, identify issues, and provide solution designs to complement the Support Team's ability to provide a fix in timescales that are satisfactory to our WG customers.

- PL/SQL functions

- AME

- Experience of Oracle Payroll implementations

- Experience managing the testing lifecycle

Required skills:

- Oracle eBusiness Suite 11i, 11.5.10 or R12

- Detailed Functional knowledge of Oracle Payroll

- Additionally some functional knowledge of the following - core HR, SSHR, OTL, Compensation benefits, Fast formula

- Oracle SQL Development skills

- Raising SRs with Oracle using My Oracle Support

Desirable skills:

- iRecruitment

- Discoverer, Oracle Reports or BI Publisher
