Energy & Utilities SME:   - WNS GTP (Global Transformation Practice) is responsible for providing consultative solutions in support of BPO sales, due diligence, transition and ongoing service delivery operations globally. We are seeking exceptional senior industry experts and/or consultants who bring an intimate understanding of the Energy & Utilities industry, regulations & trends, its business processes and systems, best practices and sourcing models. The SME will serve in multiple capacities incorporating Strategy, Solutioning, Deal shaping, Business case development, Change management and Program execution throughout the business life-cycle of E&U clients.  Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include:   - Sales Support - Pursue, mature, plan, and execute a transformation vision within an assigned industry/domain based outsourcing engagements incorporating:   - Pre-sales pursuits in which these individuals will become a key member of the cross-functional pursuit teams to formulate a strategy, size/scope, define a roadmap and supporting business case, and drive innovative deal structures for transformational efforts;   - Existing accounts in which this individual will be expected to mature, plan, and oversee the execution of transformation efforts that provide tangible results to the account.   - Thought Leadership - Support business selling with technical messaging to assist practices in responding to RFI, and RFP.   - Drive the messaging/positioning and articulate industry relevant topics that will secure the positioning/credibility of WNS as an Industry leader.   - BU/Account Management - Develop and maintain relationship with internal WNS BU’s and “Client” (Account) Relationship Management, serving as the single point of contact for driving Industry best practices and related change initiatives.   - Required to provide advisory support for delivery of transformational engagements as a Subject Matter Expert.   - Working with client & internal WNS BU’s, envision, map, and construct detailed business plans.   - Solutioning/Deal Shaping - Facilitate complex Business-technology discussions with senior executives (CxO) and lead the definition of a business solution by incorporating strong knowledge of the E&U industry.   - Support business selling with technical, industry-specific messaging to assist the Account Team in responding to resulting opportunities.   - Able to define creative value propositions for clients using WNS enabled solutions. Participate in the development of ROI, TCO messages for proposed solutions.   - Apply both business and technology skills in formulating technology-enabled solutions across multiple architectural levels, namely: business architecture and technology architecture.   - Program/Solution Management - Coordinating the efforts of a diverse team comprised of sales, process, and technology disciplined individuals, driving towards key goals/objectives of the E&U Business Unit.   Key Qualifications   - Senior Practitioner: Deep domain expertise in the Energy & Utilities sector, Business Consulting, Facilitation, and Solution Sales experience (minimum of 8 years), supplemented by direct operational, process, and technical expertise.   - Domain Expertise: Mandatory direct ‘full life cycle’ Outsourcing experience, preferably BPO in the E&U sector (across Customer life-cycle, Billing, F&A, Contact Centre, Smart-grid, Research & Analysis etc).   - Facilitation Skills: Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals to extract, define, and document business processes towards a common conclusion. Strong ability to gain consensus across a diverse group of participants. Ability to work across virtual teams both within WNS and the Client community in a hands-on manner.   - Program/Project Management Skills: Ability to scope goals/objectives, identify/size tasks & milestones, and manage/motivate a group (WNS & Clients) towards a common conclusion. Strong time management skills with the ability to adjust schedules, tasks, and deliverables. Ability to work across multiple teams both within WNS and the Client community in a hands-on manner.   - Consultative Selling Experience: Ability to comfortably present a Value Proposition based on derived business challenges/opportunities and incorporating solutions that may include WNS-specific and 3rd party solutions, at the strategic, operational and technical levels.   - Solution Definition/Deal Shaping: Demonstrated the ability to assist diverse teams in the isolation of business/technology initiatives through use of collaborative work sessions. Able to define creative value proposition for clients leveraging WNS capabilities and BPO services. Ability to isolate an end-to-end transformation roadmap, solution components, and justified business case based on business value/outcome propositions.   - Business-Technology Linkage: Ability to scale across the vertical chain (Business Strategy to processes and technology implementation). Ability to apply both business and technology skills in formulating solutions across multiple architectural levels, namely: business architecture and technology architecture.   Tools and Methodology:   - Strong understanding of Business and Technical architecture paradigms and best practices;   - Demonstrated understanding of an industry standard Program/Project Management (PMI), Business Process Excellence (Six-Sigma), and Technology Delivery (Rational Unified Process (RUP);   - Experience with the implementation of progressive software development/integration platforms, development tools, and emerging technologies.   - Strong working knowledge of MS Tools (MS Office, MS Project, Share Point)   - Strong Communication skills: Strong communication skills - written, verbal and presentation.   - Education/Experience: Candidates should have 12-15 years of industry experience in a similar capacity and hold a minimum of a BS, MBA Preferred.   - Location/Travel: This position will require extensive domestic & international travel.
