WNS - Sr Analyst - SAS Reporting & Analytics - Hospitality

Experience: 4+ years of experience in Reporting & Data Analysis. Proficiency in SAS Base/Advanced, SQL, Excel. Knowledge of Teradata/UNIX will be an added advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform daily tasks including but not limited to SAS programming, Reporting, data manipulations, reports, issues/investigation troubleshooting and scheduling of these tasks.

- Proactively seek opportunities for continuous improvement to drive incremental revenue, and/or reduced cost through analyzing and understanding the data in assigned projects.

- Automate SAS processes in a UNIX environment.

- Performing the compilation and analysis of voluminous transactional and other data to arrive at suitable inference to support informed decision making.

- Query and Mine large data sets to discover patterns and filter for targeted information.

- Collaborate with team members and client to understand business requirements and specifications.

- Gain an understanding of the client’s business and provide technical strategy and insight into solving their business problems.

- Translate requirements to design, recommend and guide technical solutions for client based systems.

- Ability to research and resolve moderately complex problems.

- Author and maintain documentation.

- Work in a team environment and establish productive user relationships, both client facing and internal.
