Position Title : Sr. group Manager - Procurement, Philippines  Team : 4-5 Members in Philippines  Reporting to : Head Procurement in India  - This is the lead position for Procurement in Manila, Philippines. The incumbent is expected to have minimum 10 -15 years of relevant industry experience, specifically in the areas such as Supply chain management / Procurement and Strategic Sourcing / Process Management.   - This is a country specific role and the incumbent will be responsible for the leading the internal procurement at Philippines offices in close coordination with Corporate Procurement team.  Key Responsibilities - Procurement   - Manage the entire procurement at Philippines as per Policy and guidelines  - Devise overall strategy for the seamless Procurement at the location  - Establish effective controls to achieve the desired performance levels  - Develop vendor engagement plan considering the type of spend  - Coordinate with Local authorities like PEZA for specific approvals and good clearance.  - Manage good engagement in the Procurement platforms and with authorities   - Review of existing processes to check the process health and devise improvement plans  - Building a process improvement framework through good business analysis and process optimization techniques.   - Drive operational excellence and business transformation.  - Managing close engagement with Corporate Procurement team to ensure the strategic connect and compliance.  - Project Management and cost leadership  - Building a good procurement practice and category Management approach.  - Build customer satisfaction through effective Performance and stake holder management  - Build Synergy with key stake holders to enhance the performance and speed of the process  - Engaging internally within WNS for various inputs and reporting related to Procurement.  - Managing the team size for the best possible optimization and motivation.  - Planning the Talent Management program for the team  - Improvement in the performance and KRA's as per client expectations and agreed SLA's.  - Building the culture towards innovation and creativity within the team  - Coach, train and mentor direct reports and provide career development opportunities through training   Professional Experience, Knowledge And Education :   Essential :   - Strong understanding of the Procure to pay process in captive environment.  - Very good exposure to ERP implementation / environment as a user  - Expertise to include, amongst others, Procure-to-pay, Source-to-pay, Master Data Management, Reporting, Analytics, Market Intelligence.   - PEZA regulation and local compliance management  - Ability to lead teams in the procurement space   - Strong leader of people, continuously coaching and developing the bench  - Excellent client relationship skills   - A track record of strong operational delivery managing a large team in Sourcing and Procurement space   - Proven track record of driving change in people and processes, with strong project management, implementation and process improvement skills   - Ability to deal with high levels of ambiguity   - Data driven action orientation, with strong reporting, data analysis, presentation skills, and organizational abilities   - Knowledge of project and program management desirable   - Negotiation and communication skills are mandatory  - Performance management skills   Desirable :   - ERP implementation experience.  - Process improvement experience / Certification  - Good knowledge of technology platforms and systems   - Consensus building skills   Education :  - Relevant post graduate degree in Business Management or Commerce/ Sciences / Engineering  Specific Competencies :   - High energy/ passion for growth / go-getter   - Global exposure   - Excellent communication and Presentation skills  - Ability to influence multiple internal stakeholders   - Ability to build deep client partnerships   - Ability to lead and build strong teams   - Ability to work in an ambiguous environment  - Strategic thinking  - Problem solving
