Title : General Manager - Operations

Location : Manila,Philippines

Work Experience :

- An existing Senior Manager / GM at Container Shipping Lines both Major Lines and Regional Operators.

- The purpose of this position is to manage the outsourced process in the area of Operations for a client of WNS. The focus of this role will be to head the shore-based organization that coordinates with the clients to ensure the smooth execution of the processes based in Manila.

The major responsibilities of the General Manager for Service Delivery include :

- Have a strong understanding of process management, a flair for understanding ERP's, workflows and being a hands on leader.

- An understanding / appreciation of the Container Shipping industry would be a tremendous asset.

- Responsible and coordinates day to day operational issues for the client and is the client face for the delivery teams.

- Overall responsibility for date integrity for operational updates to client systems and port systems (as required).

- Planning for future resources and developing the organizations- capabilities in terms of people, technology and equipment.

- Developing partnerships within the company and with the client.
