WizIQ - Director - Human Resources (8-12 yrs)

Overview:

We are looking for a passionate, innovative and seasoned Human Resource Professional who will work closely with business leaders to ensure HR programs support and drive WizIQ's business objectives.

- The ideal candidate would have experience of establishing and owning the overall HR operations for an IT product organisation.

- The candidate should have worked on strengthening workforce capability, providing change leadership, talent management / succession planning and supporting day-to-day HR operations.

About the role:

Role Title: Director- HR

Reports To: CEO

Supervises: HR Team across all locations

Qualification: MBA (HR) from a premium institute

Years of Experience: 10-12 years of relevant experience

Role Description:

- The role is of a strategic business partner from the HR side and the incumbent would lead the HR function with a view to support WizIQ's strategic goals.

- The incumbent will be responsible for developing and driving all HR policies/ processes and manage overall functioning of the HR department across locations.

Principle Accountabilities:

Planning:

- Translate business strategies and objectives into the appropriate HR actions and initiatives.

- Forecast and develop HR plan and budget

- Measure and monitor key HR metrics/dashboard on a routine basis.

- Take accountability for achieving the company's HR Objectives

Manpower Planning:

- Oversee the recruitment process and ensure that the positions are closed in a timely fashion.

- Finalize empanelment decision or continuance of services of the recruitment consultants.

Internal HR Consultant:

- Act as an internal HR consultant to the management team and provide input on the HR implications of strategic and operational decisions.

Compensation & Benefits Management:

- Own the compensation management system for the organisation and conduct activities like payroll administration, salary benchmarking etc.

- Develop and enhance the benefits bucket with a view to provide the best possible options to the employees.

HR Initiatives:

- Establish HR strategies and processes for offices at various locations.

- Establish effective communication channels for employees to ensure proper sensitivity to HR needs.

- Proactive in developing and effectively introducing alternatives to current HR practices with a view to foster sound employee relations and engagement.

Training & Development:

- Champion the development of high potential employees, including those identified during performance reviews or succession planning sessions.

- Support the design and delivery of appropriate training and development programs.

Performance Management:

- Own the Performance Management; support and develop line managers in driving a performance culture through coaching, facilitating talent assessments and succession planning meetings.

HR Administration:

- Oversee routine personnel activities and provide expert input to the HR team in terms of employment legislation, policies and industry practices.

Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities:

- Prior experience of leading the HR function of a technology product organization, preferably with a product start-up.

- Demonstrated experience in change management.

- Strong knowledge of HR function, especially employment rules and regulations.

- Strong awareness about HR related current industry best practices.

-Strong business acumen and the ability to translate the needs of the core business function into people solutions.

- Proven leadership with an ability to motivate others through infectious passion and perseverance.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to persuade people across organization.

- Amiable disposition and strong influencing skills to effectively address sensitive HR issues.

- Ability to develop strong working relations at all levels, feel the pulse of the organisation and ensure a cordial work environment for the employees.

- Ability to manage multiple projects/ priorities simultaneously.

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
