Within CBU, the Hospitality, Travel, Transportation & Public Sector (http) vertical focuses on Business & IT engagements for Fortune-500 and Global-2000 clients around the world. HTTP has been the 2nd fastest growing verticals among the 26 at Wipro and one of the most diverse, comprising of multiple industry sub-groups spanning people movement, material movement and hospitality. The industries we cover range from airlines, shipping, logistics, travel companies, car rentals, cruise lines, railroads and trucking companies to Quick Service Restaurants and hotel chains.  Job Summary :   This is a global position that cuts across the diverse industry groups within HTTP vertical as well as all geographic segments where Wipro is present. The role holder will own and drive domain capability in HTTP Vertical. The role holder is expected to define differentiated solutions, help and enable opening of new engagements and build domain-driven revenues and domain capability. The role holder will also be a key partner in driving the vertical business strategy of the Global Vertical Head of HTTP.   Responsibilities :   Core responsibilities will include :  Growth: Defining a sound business growth strategy built on domain consulting strengths. Focus on growing the domain competency to 10% of unit strength with higher billing rates and margins. Help in creating new business opportunities & New business wins (revenue and Order Value)  Practice Management: Manage a diverse team of geographically distributed domain consulting professionals across different experience levels, including their goals & objectives, mentoring, career planning etc. apart from project level billing, utilizations and allocations  Solutions: Identifying & Defining differentiated services and solutions for various process areas within HTTP industry apart from working with Wipro's CTO office to co-create and take next generation innovations to market.  Competency: Defining & supporting a strong competency/capability-building strategy. Own and manage HTTP Academy as the one-stop enabling environment for aspiring internal and lateral consultants  Partnerships: Nurture key ecosystem partnerships in key focus areas based on product evaluation/due diligence with the objective of building knowledge and networks e.g. Trade bodies, practitioner forums, industry networks etc. Explore & develop Wipro specific layer/extensions to the core partner offering.  Branding: Creating a strong Wipro Market Positioning - increasing Wipro's mindshare in the HTTP industry ecosystem (product companies, analysts and influencers)  Capabilities needed :   Delivery Capabilities :   Delivery and program expertise with experience in handling multi shore consulting projects with distributed teams  Strategic thinking :   Big picture orientation, conceiving effective strategies to drive growth for the vertical  Analytical thinking & problem solving skills  Ability to comprehend complex scenarios, propose effective implementation plans & solutions in tackling challenges  Leadership & Interpersonal skills   Ability to drive & lead the strategic execution, manage change, build relationships with clients, partners, motivate teams & achieve results  Thought Leadership :   Ability to converse with industry leaders, analysts and formulate POV on trends and proactively propose solutions, investment decisions along with published artifacts, industry speakerships, analyst interactions etc.  Personal Drive :   Entrepreneurial drive with a can-do attitude, a strong desire to learn and shape one's own career path.   Adaptability & Soft skills. :   Being flexible & learning to deliver in WIPRO environment. Soft skills like Process Management, Program Management and Change Management skills critical  Qualifications Required :   15+ years of industry experience with the past 5 years being in a consulting leadership position, MBA from a premier institute is a plus  Functional expertise in at least two HTTP vertical-specific core and related processes like travel agencies, courier/express/parcel, third party logistics, airlines, urban transportation, supply chain management (warehouse/transportation management and related functions), demand planning, clientele, order management, e-commerce, digital marketing etc.  Exposure to tier-1 ERP/SCM/CRM products specifically for any of the industry sub-verticals within HTTP group.  Experience or strong exposure to software lifecycles including defining downstream from a consulting engagement  Ownership in Solution incubation and IP-creation  A good mix of experience working in operations and enterprise processes of a technology company  Good knowledge of the international market and demand including multiple engagements across geographies  Experience in consultative selling and creating client business case for value based pitches
