- The role is designed to support and lead the delivery of activities carried out by the Corporate tax team. It involves both people management and individually contributing responsibilities as a reviewer. Good exposure towards stakeholder management and tax compliance.

- Reviewing the monthly computations, timely payment and return filing of Vat, Excise, Service tax, Entry tax and TDS

- Taking necessary action against notices received from any department with the help of in house team and tax consultants

- Appear before statutory authorities on behalf of the Company

- Ensure to release the seized goods by taking up with relevant check post, investing authorities, etc

- Review the GL reconciliations made by teams so that the GL balances in books are in line with tax returns

- Managing and Coordinating Vat, Stat, tax and internal audits including audit preparation, document requests, etc

- Review workings related to Excise to ensure that the credit lost is genuine

- Quantify impact of business decisions and thereby help in MIS reporting

- Understand system issues, resolve them with the help of IT team and make necessary adjustment in books

- Ensure the relevant SOP are prepared and implemented for ensuring logistics compliance

- Be focused on process improvements

- Be updated for GST regulations and implement it in the ERP when applicable

Qualification : Chartered Accountant
