Wholesale Strategy - Investment Banking

Overview:

- The work of the strategy team includes market entry strategy, business performance review, analysis of operating model, acquisition screening and market & competitor analysis.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Develop market sizing / revenue pool models at a regional as well as product level

- Prepare a quarterly presentation on division’s earnings covering financial performance analysis, changes in business/market environment and key macro environment/industry themes impacting the earnings

- Conduct analysis of the competitive and general macro / market environment based on public data and industry reports used for senior management presentations.

- Support strategy team seniors / business on ad-hoc projects.

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

- MBA or MS (Finance / Economics) from a top-tier institution

- 2-4 years of relevant work experience in a strategy role, in a consulting firm or a strategy/business planning unit of a financial institution.

- Understanding of Wholesale industry (Fixed Income / Equities / Capital markets / Investment Banking) desirable, but not compulsory.
