Your main role as a SAP Basis analyst is to collaborate across partners, functions and/or business to ensure that SAP systems are available, with the proper performance and has predictable behavior. You will be asked to interact with Whirlpool Global teams to ensure alignment of local delivery to global strategy. You will also be asked to collect business requirements and design robust fit for use / fit for purpose infrastructure solutions.   - In addition, partner with business and/or process partners to validate solutions, test, develop training, and document process for new hardware/software solutions, application enhancement, and/or infrastructure/security upgrades. Partner with and drive results with process partners, 3rd party service providers in a global environment.   - Technology Support - Develop and maintain the technology platform operational plan for execution by production support personnel including service and component patching, upgrading, monitoring and performance management planning.  - Availability Management - Ensure that solution designs are sufficiently robust to enable business availability requirements include disaster recovery planning.  - Outsourcing Management - Ensure that outsourcing partner is delivering services according to expected SLAs. Act as business point of escalation, validate technical requests frompartners, ensure compliance to Whirlpool global process.  - Capacity Management- Ensure that implemented solutions that are sufficiently robust that IT capacity meets current and future business requirements in a cost- effective manner.  - Validation Testing - Develop thorough testing plans to ensure all components, modules and designed solutions meet specifications and aligned with standards  - Solutions design - Evaluate, assess business requirements, engineer infrastructure and/or application solutions and services with global engineering t teams.  - Cross Functional Collaboration - Maintain a critical communication channel with the Whirlpool Infrastructure Project Delivery team, Vertical Leads, Project Delivery Analysts / Project Managers and any strategic or other 3rd party vendors to ensure successful implementation of the project solution.  - Solution Design Documentation - Ensure internal processes, procedures, tools and infrastructure are documented, maintained with accuracy, and adhered to in day to day operations. Ensure testing results are documented in the appropriate tools.  Candidate profile:  Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems  Experience: Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in the design, implementation and support of current technology and working knowledge with SAP basis (design and operate, including capacity and performance management, incident resolution, etc).
