- As a Delivery Head, you will be responsible for setting strategic direction and ongoing operation and oversight of key technology governance processes within the IT Infrastructure and Operations organization. You will also be responsible for leading Governance and vendor management functions. You will oversee a team of Managers, engineers and operations associates and lead the ongoing operation, enhancement and monitoring of KPIs. This includes monitoring on-going risks and providing resolutions, driving process improvements, resource planning & optimization and performance management. The role will have a dual reporting structure with solid line into India Site Leader and a dotted line into IT Infrastructure & Operations, Governance leader typically onshore in USA.

Key responsibilities :

- Migration of responsibilities of assigned platforms/portfolios and processes as per project timelines and ensure smooth knowledge transfer in partnership with on-shore and off shore stake holders

- Develop domain expertise for the platforms/portfolios supported and assist the team with day to day operations.

- Lead PMO and vendor governance teams

- Align execution priorities - project delivery, employee goals, and establish service levels with business and functional owners to drive service quality through quality control

- Partner with all stakeholders as required to implement employer branding and talent attraction, performance management, employee development, employee engagement and retention programs

- Recommends strategy for functional and business units supported and ensures the implementation of high-end, business-wide, critical strategy set by senior management

- Hire, manage and mentor 4-6 managers who will be responsible for leading teams of up to 100 employees

- Manage key third party strategic partnerships across application teams and resolve issues as needed

- Provides guidance, planning and direction for functional units supported

- Participate in capacity and program planning exercises

- Maintain effective communication with clients, business and partners as needed

What we require :

- Master's degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Business Administration or equivalent from a premiere institute (preferred)

- 10+ years of IT leadership and management experience

- Experience in a financial services/payments /Banking verticals

- Prior experience in managing vendor relationships

- Prior experience leading onshore and offshore delivery, including working overlapping business hours to partner with onshore teams

- Must be a problem solver with demonstrated experience in solving difficult technology challenges, with a can do attitude; possess strong leadership skills in guiding and directing teams throughout the SDLC process

- Extensive experience in developing applications and web based systems and solutions

- Understanding of logical and physical database architectures and operating systems.

- Self-starter with ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistently deliver results

- Strong Customer Centric mindset with an ability to outperform Service Level Agreements on Customer satisfaction and experience

- Extensive experience in release management and agile methodologies preferred

- Ability to interact in global environment with colleagues and employees in different geographical regions

- Technical area of expertise:

- Experience leading operations for large technology platforms

- Experience with program management

- Experience with project management tools

- Experience dealing with 3rd party vendor relationships
