About Organization:

Welspun Renewables Energy plans to be the pioneering organization to utilize the power of the sun and wind. We aim to install 1.75 GW of renewable energy power plants in the next three years. We believe this is the technology for the future and is a priority area for Welspun Renewables Energy. Our emphasis on systems and processes has enabled the organization for flawless execution by consistently decreasing its on-ground development cycle. This has been instrumental in bringing the solar tariff closer to grid parity.

Within a short span of our existence, we have pioneered solar power solutions, both in terms of plant size and total installed capacity. We envision developing our wind power projects pan India, focusing on states like Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Andhra Pradesh among many others. Our recent achievements herald the beginning of our projects springing up across India. Through our commissioned projects we are mitigating over 397,745 tons of CO2 emissions annually.

We also hold the distinction of developing one of the world's largest solar projects of 151 MW (DC) at Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh. It as the distinction of being one of the fastest executed projects of this scale and was commissioned eight montsh ahead os schedule. Our 55 MW (DC) Rajasthan solar project is among

India's largest solar projects.

Qualifications/Experience: BE and MBA from IIMs/Reputed business schools, 6-10 years of experience in energy/renewable energy sector

Role Deliverables:

- Ability to spot right opportunities analayze and present them to the Management

- Identify businesses/business models that add new dimension to the Company's portfolio with more value addition

- Ability to anaylze opportunities, identify risks and their mitigation strategies, ability to take decisions and conclude the deals

- Adapt to working conditions and business requirements, stretching oneself as per the need of the hour

- Work in collaboration with other functions like Finance, Engineering, PMO, Legal etc. towards achieving common goals

- Maintain high standards of professionalism in dealing with both internal and external customers

- Gain hands on experience in trying new business ideas to tune the Organization's performance with changing regulations

- Ability to persuade internal and external customers to believe in ideas

- Contribute to organizational and team performance by adding value in the role

- Rigorous follow up on pending and important issues and resolve them in favour of the Company

Task Deliverables:

- Track opportunities in various business segments, analyze and present the opportunities to enable the management to take a informed decision

- Work on materializing opportunities that fulfill organizational goals through bidding or non-bidding route

- Prepare financial models for opportunities through bidding route

- Work in conjunction with other departments for making business proposals/ bid documents like RFQ and RFP

- Gain market intelligence and competitor moves and gauge ourselves against competition

- Keep regular track of developments on regulatory front, advocate changes, provide comments, suggestions on Policies, Regulations, Bidding documents etc.

- Analyze new regulations or bid conditions, evaluate their importance or impact and ideate strategies to mitigate any adverse conditions or take advantage of new opportunities

- Evaluate M&A opportunities in the sector that suit the business strategy of the Organization

- Provide necessary assistance to other Departments like Finance, Project Management, Environment, and Legal etc in obtaining various clearances, approvals and achieving milestones like financial closure.

- Maintain database of competitors and their Projects to gauge the competition during bidding processes

- Meet various State and Central Government officials/departments and present proposal for new ventures or expansion
