Wegilant - Manager - Business Development (2-5 yrs)

Wegilant (A Startup venture founded by an IIT Bombay Alumnus during his studies) is a fast growing cyber security organization which delivers cyber security solution to corporate entities. The company got incubation in IIT Bombay business incubator SINE on 1 August 2013.

The Company's flagship product Appvigil is an Integrable Mobile Device Protection Suite which help enterprises produce or use secure android applications. Appvigil is based on Patent pending technology to assess mobile applications in a fully automated way.

Appvigil performs multiple analysis to scan android application's executable file (.apk) to scan for security loopholes. Analyses include static analysis, dynamic analysis, network analysis etc.

What is our Business Development position :

- The position will be tasked with planning and executing our marketing and sales strategies, as well as helping Wegilant advance its business model and enter new markets.

- The Manager, Business Development is a direct sales position responsible for identifying and signing new B2B (significant focus on B2B sales), building new client relationships, growing sales & profitability.

What we are looking for :

- Identify different routes to business creation; creating and maintaining relationships for the same.

- Create, manage and close pipeline of prospective clients through innovation, creativity and out of box thinking.

- B2B meetings and presentations with the top-most leadership teams in corporates.

- Create a strong follow-up process and execute it to remain in touch with the prospects.

- Identify decision makers in the organization and pursue for a phone meeting, video conferencing, face to face meeting for business discussions.

- Responsible for negotiating contracts and closing deals in accordance with Company policies with regard to pricing, delivery schedule, terms of payment, etc.

- Drive opportunities to commercialization within defined budgets and timelines based on the understanding of the industry value chains.

- Responsible for timely collection of funds from customers

- Capability to understand technical aspects of the product and be able to independently run trials at customer sites.

- Responsible for presenting new products and services and enhancing existing relationships

- Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the Company's management system

- Own end-to-end sales cycle by managing client expectations and negotiations around cost, scope and timeline

- Responsible for attending industry functions and conferences, and providing feedback and information on market trends

- Responsible for using knowledge of the market and competitors, identifying and developing the Company's unique selling propositions and differentiates.

Skills and qualification :

- MBA/BE/B.Tech/MCA with experience in Sales

- Education in Communication, Marketing or Business is required (or) equivalent experience and proven track record in this industry.

- At least 3 years- of B2B sales experience and a commitment to customer satisfaction is required.

- Knowledge of IT industry preferred

- Results oriented, confident, self-motivated and driven with high energy

- Good presentation skills and ability to network with potential clients

- Demonstrated use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
