As a Regional Sales Manager - FAO ( Franchise Acquisition & Operations ) with WMC, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to enable growth of WMC Services by building a strong franchise network across the country.

- The objective of this position is to deliver on-going new business growth to WMC services by recruiting third-party (Brand Store Franchise ) that deliver competitive pricing and broad product selection. Working in a dynamic sales environment, you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, negotiating and closing agreements with third-party sellers.

- Your success will be measured by the partner selection and revenue your clients bring to the platform. Your responsibilities will include defining the seller strategy for building and scaling franchise network, establishing Third Party relationships, and drive the day-to-day interactions with these Franchises in order to build long-term business opportunity.

- The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, services, and challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions to Franchise of all sizes. To be successful in this role you will have superior communication, presentation and organisational skills. Operating in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment you will work autonomously taking full control and responsibility for hitting business objectives.

- This role provides opportunities to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever changing business climate.

The position shall be accountable for achieving Sales and targets by expansion of Retailer /Franchisee network, leading and motivating the Franchisee/Retailer, achieving the width of expansion, building volumes and implementing the marketing and sales promotion strategies.

RM who can Implement, Manage and drive with the help of his Head of Region to the entire Region Operations. Accountable for the State business operations and P&L.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales Plan:

- RM ( FAO ) will be responsible for growing WMC brand in the assigned region by appointing and servicing a strong Franchise network .

- The RM will develop an annual sales plan, review the marketing plan, keep tracking franchise progress. The RM must establish goals and objectives, set sales target .

- Act as single point of contact for franchise /Retailer development related activity for State covered while delivering effective and streamlined communication to franchise system on development pipeline.

- Build relationships and work with franchisees/Retailer to influence develop commitment against market plans and support ongoing development results aligned with those plans.

- Engage with Franchisees/Retailers and internal partners to find solutions to development barriers.

- Execute assessment and qualification process for new franchisees entering the WMC system Supports franchise on-boarding and follow up support processes.

- Supports targeted Franchise /Retailers Recruiting efforts to fill brand strategic needs by identifying, evaluating, and qualifying candidates. Includes partnering on Diversity & Inclusion to identify, support, and enable diversity franchise recruiting.

Operating Plan :

- Translate the sales forecasts, and marketing and product plans into an operational (monthly/quarterly) plan.

- Review sales forecast, marketing plans, and resource requirements to establish financial projections by state/area/sales channels. Calculate financial projections by region/area/sales channels

- Review consolidated, business unit financial projections and ensure that they meet profit requirements in the business plan. Update/modify financial projections.

Manage Channel Sales & Key Accounts :

- Develop and nurture the relationship with Franchisees. Study their needs and apply innovative business practices. Manage the ongoing relationship including soliciting requirements.

- Develop long-term and short-term sales goals to support strategies for the company across all regions, categories and products.

- Identify Key Franchisee's who add the most value/profit to your organization.

- Determine a strategy for developing a long term relationship with the Franchisee's. This will include how the organization can meet and anticipate the partner needs in the short and agree with Franchisee on yearly business plan.

- Periodically check the Franchisee account progress as it relates to the account plan. This activity will usually be performed by the sales department

Desired Candidate Profile :

Education :

UG : B.Com - Commerce, B.A - Any Specialization, B.B.A - Management, B.Arch - Architecture, Any Graduate - Any Specialization

PG : MBA/PGDM - Any Specialization, Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization

Experience & Qualifications :

- Deep understanding of and passion for startup required.

- 2-5 years of Experience in Sales & Marketing with exposure to retail/direct sales

- Experience of market planning, development related experience with demonstrated organizational impact and increasing responsibility in related areas.

- Experience in franchise, multi-unit restaurant/retail industry preferred, candidates from Automobile, FMCG, Service Industry, F& B, retail.

- Preferably an MBA or Graduate with experience preferably from Automobile industry in managing a region

- Has thorough understanding of market trends, including opportunities and activities of competitors and analyzing markets and their needs.

- Has in-depth knowledge in field of expertise and a thorough understanding of the firm products and target markets to be tapped.

- Is responsible for strategic client servicing, key interface with clients and translating servicing expectations clearly.

- Demonstrated highest level of integrity, intellectual honesty, and strong work ethic.

- Sharp, analytical, and thoughtful. Has sound judgement and ability to be right a lot. Thoroughly thinks through problems to come up with solutions. Applies fair and consistent criteria. Gathers the right input/data. Uses intuition. Is decisive. Makes good decisions when analysis of data is not sufficient to reach a conclusion.

- Proven ability to successfully thrive in an ambiguous environment and changing market conditions.

- Simplifier but at the same time things big, takes smart risks, is innovative and can think out of the box. Develops original ideas, approaches, and solutions to typical, unusual, or difficult situations or problems.

- Takes initiative. Doesn't wait to be asked & don't need any hand holding. Plans efficiently while avoiding analysis paralysis.

- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.

- Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented.

Salary Range: 6-10 LPA
