Organisation: NBFC-MFI (Non Banking Finance Company - Micro Finance Institution) serving 220,854 clients across 37 districts of Bihar, Jharkhand & Uttar Pradesh, operating with 63 branches.   Position Title : Senior VP/ VP - Finance & Accounts  Job Summary :   The Sr .VP/ VP-Finance & Accts. is to provide both operational and programmatic support to the organization. He supervises the finance unit. He reports directly to the Chairman Cum Managing Director (CMD) and assists him on all matters relating to accounting, budgeting, statutory and regulatory compliances.  He will provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company.  Key Responsibilities :   - To plan, design and implement a book keeping and accounting system matching international standards and support top management to put in place a robust audit procedure and reporting.  - Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial programs and supporting information systems of the company to include budgeting, tax planning, real estate, and conservation of assets.  - Approve and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company.  - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.  - Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, and position control documents, department budgets, mass salary updates, ledger, and account maintenance and data entry as per the Board approved Business Plan of the company.  - Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.  -Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.  - Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards.  - Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.  - Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.  - Co-ordinate closely with both statutory and internal auditors,  - To put in place a robust cash and funds management system for optimal returns  - To draft and ensure compliance of a comprehensive accounts manual and investment guidelines for the company  - Assist in obtaining the necessary licenses and insurance required to start a business.  - Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.  - Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. .  - Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff  - Any other related task assigned by the CMD from time to time  Skills :  - Strong Skills in financial analysis, financial planning, risk management and human resources management.  - Ability to lead, manage and coordinate large and multi-disciplinary teams.  - Strong management skills; excellent negotiation and presentation skills.  - Excellent leadership, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.  - Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.  - Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings  Qualification :  - CA/MBA (Finance )/ M. COM/ CFA with minimum 10 years of work experience  Personality And Attitudes : Objective, observant, analytical, responsible,honest and organized  Experience : Work experience at middle/senior level in the Accounts department of banks, NBFCs, Companies with retail operations
