VP- Supply chain Management solutioning

I am currently working on a requirement with one of my top prestigious client for the role of VP- Supply chain Management solutioning. Mentioned below is the brief spec for the requirement

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 8 - 18 yrs

MUST have: Masters from Tier 1 B School (MUST)

Work collaboratively with Business clients and the client bid teams to develop robust and innovative products & solutions for Business Process Outsourcing services for the supply chain service line. This includes creating a service offering in the supply chain space spanning master data, transactional supply chain, supply chain planning and analytics areas. It also involves partnering with the business development team in creating a go to market strategy and thus a robust pipeline for the supply chain service line. It also requires team work and the ability to coach other employees and work with other parts of Business to provide further education on the BPO value proposition.

Key areas of responsibility

Product

- Create new service offerings in the supply chain space across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver areas including technology tool kits, KPIs and business outcomes

- Define the global enterprise model including resourcing, pricing, technology, process maps and governance for service offerings

Client relationship

- Work to build a strong and credible relationship with the client through working collaboratively to understand challenges and provide solutions

- Identification of client objectives for outsourcing in the supply chain space

- Ability to articulate value proposition and solution offerings in the supply chain area including key differentiators for Business

Internal and external interfaces

- Work closely with business development teams to partner with them in taking the supply chain service offerings to market

- Work with engagement executives to mine existing accounts and determine opportunity areas in the supply chain space and create solution proposals for the same

- Interact with industry analysts to communicate the value proposition of the supply chain service offerings

- Develop thought leadership collaterals showcasing Business capabilities in the supply chain outsourcing space

Requirements

Essential Skills

- MBA degree

- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain and allied areas

- Excellent client relationship skills

- Organized and self motivated

- Innovation & thought leadership

Desirable but not essential

- Understanding of business process outsourcing

- Previous experience within business process outsourcing either in solution, delivery or transition
