VP - Program Manager - Training & Development - BFSI (12-15 yrs)

Work Experience:

- The incumbent should have relevant work experience in managing the training and development function for a financial services organization.

- Should have experience in running governance functions with exposure to MI and reporting.

Required Skills:

- Ability to manage cross location and cross functional teams

- Ability to manage training and employee development functions

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Reporting / MI and spreadsheet skills

- Ability to drive best practices and initiatives within the teams

- Ability to discuss and negotiate issues with Senior Ops Managers

- Experience in the Financial Services industry

- Knowledge of Capital Markets and Investment banking Ops

Job Responsibilities:

- Regularly liaise with program leads to understand their support requirements. Identify and address any governance issues they face, over KM MBRs and periodic sync ups.

- Publish metrics tracking performance of individual programs against compliance parameters. Provide necessary support to the Ops teams to ensure they are able to meet these requirements

- Effectively interface with Shared Services on behalf of the vertical / program leads (FS)

- Speak with Ops leads regularly to understand their resourcing requirements. Check if these can be fulfilled internally from spare capacity.

- Consolidate hiring forecasts for FS each month and share the same with the recruitment team

- Plan out the DERIV org structure

- Team management and resource planning for the DERIV teams (primarily for specialist roles)

- Organize the monthly APGM+ meeting for all FS leads and the SS leads from HR, Quality, etc.
