VP - Operations/Logistics/SCM

Location: Mumbai: Andheri (Marol)

Job Requirements:

- This job position requires a post graduate from a premier institute with 10-15 years with specialization in Logistics, SCM and operations

- Should have worked in reputed companies in India primarily in Logistics

- Has prior experience in managing end-end operations for big corporate clients at Pan India level spanning both intra city and inter city goods movement.

- Knowledgeable of different aspects and intricacies of logistics - vendor management, client servicing, union management, goods transport vehicles (Trailers, trucks etc.,), team building and development, process engineering etc.

Job Responsibilities:

- Introduce and sell Porter Logistic services to both existing and new account prospects, especially

- Responsible for providing proactive leadership regarding all communications and customer experience initiatives that ultimately result in a significant contribution to company growth and profitability through increased customer satisfaction, engagement, loyalty and revenue.

- To help in achieving primary & major KRAs - Service Quality & Service Cost

- Building, Measuring, Analyzing, Improving & controlling defined process systems for operational excellence

- To develop & retain channel partners & business partners

- Should be abreast with the business trends/market opportunities with Good geographical knowledge

- Effective & Excellent at People & Process Management

- Develop the entire organization as a strong team that would enable the achievement of Organizational goals and objectives.

- Represent the voice of the customer. Integrate continuous improvement in to our processes via workflow and other proactive change.

- Partner with all departments to develop integrated processes that support excellent customer service. This includes IT, Logistics, Commercial Operations, Finance, Marketing, Sales and Commercial Leaders.

- Work experience in location based services companies like Mahindra Logistics, Gati etc will be an added advantage.
