About our Client: Our client is a Large International Hedge Fund with investments into India. An opportunity has come up to take on an Operations role as part of a small team based out of their Mumbai office.
Job Description: Reporting into the Chief Financial officer, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the fund accounting and NAV computations in conjuncture with the CFO
- Maintain relationships with and continually strengthen the position of the lawyers, administrators, banks, brokers, auditors
- Handling all the matters with regards to compliance with the SEC in the US and SFC in Hong Kong respectively
- Ensuring that investor communications with regards to deadlines are delivered in an accurate manner
- Handling post-execution trade activities including reconciliations, trade confirmations among others
The Successful Candidate:
- You will be from an IIT (Bombay, Delhi, Kharagpur, Kanpur, Madras only from any batch) AND /OR from an IIM (A,B,C only from any batch)/ISB with 3-7 years of work experience in an audit/accounting/compliance role in one of the big four audit firms or a Business Consulting role at a top tier consulting firm.
- Alternatively candidates with a CA/LLB will also be considered if they have 3 years of experience at a top-tier law firm or a big four audit firm.
- You will have excellent communication skills, have the ability to work without supervision and be open to working with a high level of ambiguity.
- Relevant experience in the Funds or Capital Markets space will be an added advantage.
