VP - Operations - Business Architecture & Change Management - Tech Strategy

Primary Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Business Decision Management (BDM) Architect, to join the BATS team in Bengaluru.The successful candidate will:

- Have experience of designing decision model strategies that can support a holistic and broad scale BDM deployment within an organisation

- Have experience of developing BDM strategies and methodologies that capture both the tactical and strategic goals of the organisation, and which can be mapped to metrics to provide ongoing governance

- Align business decision modelling with our broader capability experience, especially business process modelling

- Be familiar with TDM and DMN and understand how to apply them both to business decision models

- Have experience of designing and managing the appropriate control frameworks to ensure optimal standardization and re-use of decisions across organisations

- Be a subject matter expert for evaluation of business decision models and ensuring that they fit with our divisional strategy for BDM

- Have experience of building rule-based systems and analytical models for enabling high-volume, automated decision making

- Have demonstrated experience of eliminating business rules complexity and delivering return on investment through expedited implementation of decision and rules frameworks

- Have experience of enterprise architecture and building consistency and governance in the way that decisions are implemented across organisations

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree

- Minimum of 3 years experience in investment banking operations

- Minimum of 5 years- experience in Business Decision Modelling / Management or similar

- Experience of the lead business decision management software applications, including but not limited to Sapiens, BLAZE, BizzDesign, Pegasys

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

- TDM and DMN experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and oral; confident in interaction with all levels of employees and navigating organizations

- Self-motivated and well organized. Proven track record; ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise accordingly and make decisions as required

- Strong background in technology including understanding of technology architecture and strategy and good numerical analytical ability

- Competent in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel

- Ability to articulate solutions clearly to senior management

- Able to build and manage relationships between various user groups, technologists, and management

- Be highly collaborative, team-oriented and strong consensus builder

- Demonstrated ability to work across products, regions and functions, preferably in the financial services industry and / or management consulting
