Our client is a leading investment bank with rapid expansion of their operations in Indian market. As a part of migration of value added work from the US, UK, Europe and financial centers in APAC and increase in volume of trades globally, they are seeking experienced Investment Banking Operations professionals for their captive centers in India.
Job Description:
As a VP - Risk & Control you will be reporting to a Senior Vice President and would be responsible for:
- Heading the Enterprise Risk Management for the Clearing Business
- Planning and scheduling reviews of processes within the Prime Brokerage and Clearing Business
- Fabricating detailed questionnaires and providing an overall Control review to senior management and business heads
- Partnering with onshore teams to ensure migration commitments are delivered to the best quality
- Managing compliance, regulatory and procedural risk exposure and Risk mitigation
- Revisiting internal control systems with a view of stream lining the same and leading to cost savings
- Preparing root cause analysis to identify bottle necks and risks in operational processes
- Work closely with the testing and group audit teams to identify possible threats and remove the same
The Successful Candidate:
- You must be MBA/Bachelors with at least 8 years of relevant experience within a large investment bank in the Operational Risk & Control space.
- You must possess excellent knowledge Risk & Control with understanding of Equity / Fixed Income / Derivatives products. Furthermore, you must have the ability to face Senior Management and to develop effective solutions to support new business initiatives, market and regulatory changes.
- You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
