VP - Marketing - B2B eCommerce (5-8 yrs)

Silverpeople is hiring for a promising start-up in B2B ecommerce space. It is an on-cloud marketplace for retailers, distributors and manufacturers to discover, transact and manage their business online.

We are currently hiring for VP Marketing position, looking for a person who will be responsible for complete Marketing, Branding, Advertising etc activities.

Roles and responsibilities:

- End to end responsibility for branding & marketing.

- Own the marketing (Online and Offline) strategy. Manage branding, advertising, promotions, & communication activities ensuring maximum brand visibility among the target audience.

- Partner with all business functions, especially sales to develop strategy and tactical implementation of marketing initiatives.

- Integrated Campaign Development: Execute an integrated mix of email, digital, lead-nurturing and content marketing campaigns for consumers, suppliers and internal audience.

- Develop lead generation/campaign program objectives, goals, and metrics, and define best practices, standards, and processes to drive successful user acquisition.

- Develop a series of loyalty driving initiatives that ensure high user retention and repeats.

- Campaign Calendar: Maintain calendar of all demand generation programs, budgets, and metrics to optimize awareness and lead generation efforts.

- Targeting/Segmentation: Segment target audiences based on demographic and firmographic criteria.

What are we looking for:

- 5+ years of marketing/product management experience, handling marketing, promotions or loyalty programs, ideally e-commerce or retail business of significant scale.

- An experienced planner and project manager, with strong cross-team coordination skills.

- Must be comfortable operating at different levels in the organization, and across various teams.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to articulate ideas and persuade stakeholders.

Good to have:

- Willingness & passion to learn, implement new things.

- The ideal candidate will bring a sharp analytical mind, have strong coordination ability and can roll up his/her sleeves to get things done.

- They must have a customer-oriented mindset and must have a strong track record in building scalable marketing/promotional programs across multiple channels.

- Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment with competing priorities

- Quick thinker with the ability to operate with a commercial and customer-focused view
