We are looking for a VP Market Risk Reporting with 9-15 yrs. of experience based in Mumbai.

Requirement

- The candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Market Risk Analysts as well as deputizing for the Head of CRO Mumbai.

- The team is responsible for the daily production of risk reports and market risk analysis per asset class and at a consolidated level.

Manage a team of market risk analysts who are responsible for delivering risk information across the majority of CS asset classes

- To be responsible for growing the team by recruiting analysts and nurturing and developing existing team members

- Drive innovative and value added market risk controls to enhance report quality, effectiveness, accuracy & timeliness

- To effectively allocate resources across team

- To deputise for the CRO Mumbai Head by assisting in running the division as well as attending various forumns requiring CRO Mumbai attendance

- To build relationships and work collaboratively with the Risk teams globally (London, Singapore and New York)

To Qualify you must possess:

- Degree in a quantitative discipline from a top institution

- Post graduate degree in a numerate / quantitative subject preferred

- Minimum 10 years experience from a global Bank. Experience gained from working in international locations is prefrred.

- Excellent practical experience within Market Risk

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Minimum 5 years experience in managing a team

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

- Highly motivated, energetic and proactive individual with an ability to take ownership and responsibility of their tasks / projects

- A team player with good upward and downwards communication skills is also essential

The role will allow the candidate to be a part of a growing team and to be a key person representing CRO locally with exposure to senior members of the Risk Analytics & Reporting (RAR) and Strategic Risk Management (SRM) departments. The individual will have the opportunity to influence the activities of the CRO division as well as grow a team consisting of staff with varied experience and skill set.
