About our Client: Our client is one of the largest financial services group in Europe with a presence in over 75 countries across Retail Banking, Specialized Financing & Insurance, Private Banking, Global Investment Management & Services, Corporate & Investment Banking. With business expanding many folds they are looking for a seasoned Finance professional from a Banking setup for a VP position in Bangalore.
Job Description: Reporting to the CFO and leading a team of 20+ professionals, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing Financial Control activities like Statutory accounting and reporting, General Ledger & Controls, IFRS Consolidation & SOX, Statutory Audits, Fixed assets Accounting and Capitalizations, Tax accounting and provisions.
- Handle Tax and Compliance including Income tax compliance, Indirect tax compliance, Direct & Indirect Tax Management, Assessments & Advisory, Compliance & Litigation, Tax Accounting & Audits.
- Governance and control of processes.
- Leading Finance Operations like Accounts Payable, Receivable and Payroll and Financial Budgeting & Performance.
The Successful Candidate:
- You are a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 11- 15 years of post qualification experience of with 3 to 5 years in a Banking setup.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and internal control principles & SOX, IFRS Reporting and Tax Compliance for SEZ & STPI units is a must.
- You should also have well developed written and oral communications skills.
