Client: One of the Largest FMCG Conglomerate in India (MNC Co.)

Role: VP/Head Talent Acquisition (only for FMCG)

Reports to the CHRO and CMD

Location: Delhi NCR or Mumbai or Bangalore

Must have: Experience of Talent Acquisition in FMCG/D Companies only.

Description

- The VP/Head Talent Acquisition will be responsible for developing and executing the full life cycle talent acquisition strategy for the Company.

This includes:

- Short and long-term recruitment planning, resource allocation and deployment, hands-on management of the recruiting team, performance metrics reporting, and EEO compliance.

- Dynamic leadership capability with a track record of developing a high quality team that delivers results to their partners while building their skill and ability.

- Critical work driven includes: re-alignment of all recruitment resources (internal team and agencies), and managing strategic agency/vendor partnerships to provide timely and pro-active recruitment services to the field. Leading with an end-to-end talent management mindset, the right candidate will have a track record for strategizing, sourcing, screening, and delivering quality and engaged talent within a fast-paced dynamic work environment.

- Ability to partner with business and HR partners is critical with proven experience of developing profile specific searches and strategies to attract, hire, on board, and retain quality talent as the front end of the overall talent management strategy for the company.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

DEVELOP & COMMUNICATE RECRUITMENT STRATEGIES

- Establishes short and long-term recruiting strategies designed to deliver on key organizational metrics (i.e. cost per hire, time to fill, quality of hire).

- Develops targeted talent pipelines that deliver top talent to hiring managers within established search timelines and time-to-fill metrics.

- Responsible for the full recruitment life-cycle for the recruiting team (internal recruiters, contractors and agencies) to include: hiring, coaching, managing performance, and vendor replacement.

- Develops and executes profile-specific search strategies to build a continual talent pipeline. Partners with hiring managers to determine appropriate profiles and job specifications for open positions, including targeted screening and interview questions.

- Reviews job requisitions and ensures positions have the appropriate approvals and justification.

- Assigns approved positions to internal recruiting team, and determines when it’s necessary to source talent to recruiting partners/agencies.

- Provides training & education to hiring managers and partners on the recruiting process, interviewing techniques, effective networking strategies, etc. to inspire a stronger partnership between hiring managers, HR, and the recruiting team.

- Continually evaluates and refines recruiting processes and tools to ensure standardized recruiting processes, interviews, and documentation is in compliance with legal requirements and guideline as well as providing maximum efficiency and optimal candidate experience.

- Ensures that effective sourcing and selection processes are in place, eliminates inefficiencies, and pro-actively make strategic changes as needed. This includes evaluation of applicant tracking system to determine how to maximize tool to enhance the process.

- Manages the employment branding effort and proactively enhances recruitment technology solutions.

- Works with AAO as necessary to prepare AAP reports; develops and maintains diversity recruitment programs and ensures recruiting is in compliance with appropriate guidelines.

VENDOR SELECTION & MANAGEMENT:

- Identifies, negotiates and maintains vendor relationships to ensure company is obtaining the most competitive pricing from all third-party vendors.

- Coordinates vendor relationships as they pertain to contract labor, contingency and research agencies. (i.e. RPO and MSP providers, etc.)

- Develops and enforces search timelines and action plan and utilizes viable candidate submission and time-to-fill metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting vendors.

- Conducts periodic vendor reviews and makes necessary decisions to keep the most effective and efficient vendors on-board.

TEAM GUIDANCE & OPERATIONS:

- Provides direction and coaching to recruiting team and skillfully manages external recruiting vendors.

- Manages dynamic workload and reassigns recruiting resources as business needs change to ensure efficient resource application.

- Establishes search priorities in accordance with business needs.

- Partners with talent management team on the development of college recruiting and diversity programs to ensure effective time-to-fill metrics are achieved, while managing to performance metrics.

- Oversees and provides direction regarding off-site recruiting activities including participation in job fairs and professional information sessions.

- Manage the overall Talent Acquisition Budget.

- Leverage “off-season” to make processes, programs and tools adjustments as needed.

RECRUITMENT METRICS:

- Determines and closely monitors, assesses and reports detailed performance metrics on a monthly basis.

- Creates monthly reports and interprets data to provide meaningful analysis with recommended actions as appropriate.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

- MBA HR from Tier I & II B Schools

- 7-15 years Human Resources experience

- Minimum of 5 years in an HR leadership role or Talent Acquisition Head role in FMCG Company

- Demonstrated success in managing full life cycle recruiting based on key performance indicators/metrics

- Experience with recruiting in a broad spectrum of disciplines, levels and industries for positions

- Experience leading a centralized staffing function for a large, geographically dispersed business

- Track record of taking initiative in devising innovative and proven strategies for sourcing and selecting talent

- Experience developing and managing relationships with third party recruitment and other external business partners from procurement to measurement processes

- Service / retail experience a plus
