About our Client - Our client is a MNC Bank with a strong presence in Asia. As a part of expansion a opportunity has arisen for a senior role in Business Intelligence for their finance captive center in India.
Job Description - Reporting to the Head of FP&A and Business Intelligence, your responsibilities would include :
- Work with customers and Head of Business Intelligence to identify & define opportunities for cost efficiencies through business engagement and interrogation of MI. Also support activity that reviews end to end profitability and value creation for the Group.
- Provide lead expert analytical support and commercial insight to the business - pro actively developing and deploying financial models & techniques that deliver timely, robust, action-oriented outputs that can drive Senior and Executive commercial discussions and decisions.
- Lead and direct the end to end delivery of a varied range of initiatives and projects (such as strategy scenarios, forecasts, performance monitoring, investment appraisals and risk and opportunity analysis).
- Support and lead operating model changes to ensure Services and Functions Finance is at the forefront of the Finance operating model.
- Oversee the delivery of allocations and legal entity recharges to income divisions and entities. Support the translation of the business services cost base into - services' consumed by divisions.
- Actively support Heads of Business Intelligence with the provision of complex and multi faceted analytical and commercial support to business customers.
- Pro actively engage and influence Heads of Business Intelligence and the business through identification and development of actionable business insight.
- Provide analytical support from a legal entity perspective by understanding both the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow from a business perspective and impact of decisions on the Group.
- Support requirements from a Group perspective with regard to compliance with policy and risk requirements.
The Successful Candidate - Finance professional with preferably +10 years experience or MBA equivalent.
- Previous experience in a business analytical environment.
- Analytical and enquiring nature and skill set.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information in a concise, non-technical manner.
- Ability to work in a flexible environment.
- Planning and organization capabilities
