About our Client: Our client is a Leading Investment Bank with full suite of financial product offering to their clients across the globe. India has been growing as the centre of excellence for key IB functions and in order to accentuate the growth within the business, the client is looking for a VP - Financial Control supporting the Global business.
Job Description: Reporting to the Head of Financial Control and managing a team of 50+ professionals; your key responsibilities include:
- End to end monthly closure activities including complete P&L, book closure, balance sheet substantiation, ensuring accrual and provisions are done etc.
- Overseeing intercompany reconciliations including compliance issue, recharges, collections, following up on payments.
- Ensuring good internal control for systems.
- Making sure that all deliverables are met as per key customers and stakeholders requirements.
The Successful Candidate:
- You are a Qualified CA with 10+ years experience within a Services setup with strong experience in Financial Control.
- Prior experience in working in a matrix environment and of leading and motivating a multi function multi location team supporting the long-term development of staff and self within different cultural and regulatory environments is required.
- Strong customer focus, with experience of pro-actively working with a number of demanding customers in a flexible manner is a must.
