VP Engineering

Specific responsibilities will include :

- Leading a large, full-stack team of developers (Across Android, iOS, Front-end and Back-end), who are passionate about disrupting the services industry

- Hiring top quality talent for this team

- Helping set the strategic agenda for the company

- Translating this agenda into an actionable product/tech road-map

- Fostering a culture of timely execution against this road-map

- Mentoring team members, and ensuring that they are learning and growing with the company

Preferred past background :

- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent from a top tier college

- 7-12 years of experience at cutting edge organizations or startups

- Prior experience in leading large engineering teams (25+)

- Experience in enforcing engineering best practices (code reviews, testing, service-oriented architecture etc.)

- Experience with mobile infrastructure, distributed systems, and/or component-oriented software engineering

- Demonstrated open-source contribution

- Hustle and get things done attitude

- Entrepreneurial DNA and dreams in your eyes
