Responsibilities:
Business development strategies for target sectors / clients, with a focus on ECM products. Also, work alongside other Business Teams (M&A, PE, and Structured Finance) for relevant opportunities in target sectors/ clients. Assessing a deal's desirability both from the Brand and suitability perspective
Responsible for revenue generation for business targets for the respective vertical
Deep understanding of sectors under coverage and building relationships with key players and decision makers in that sector.
Maintaining relationship with clients throughout the transaction and post closure for ensuring future business potential
Support ECM team during transaction implementation
Ideation of business opportunities, building necessary pitch books and presenting these to clients.
Ensuring all regulatory aspects of a transaction have been considered and complied with
Build capable and motivated team with focus on high engagement & productivity
Key Result Areas:
Analyzing and preparing generic industry, market or specific company overviews
Researching and analyzing specific company financial information and fundamentals
Preparing Valuation Models, Information Memorandum & Pitch books
Assisting in forming the appropriate structure of a deal
Participate in client interactions - call, conferences, site-visits, etc.
Tracking newspapers, data bases, etc. for any prospective deals
Candidate's Profile:
Experience of ideation and origination for Pharma /Industrials/Auto/Auto Ancillary apart from any other sectors, with good understanding of various equity capital market products and regulatory framework.
Needs to have overall experience of 7-10 years, of which 1-2 years must be with revenue responsibility
Qualification: Post-graduate; Preferably (CA / ICWA /CS /MBA)
