Position: VP - Debt Syndication

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 8-10 Years

Qualification: CA / MBA

Purpose of the Job:

Head the corporate finance, treasury & banking relationships vertical. Develop and build relationships with all lenders. Manage complete data requirement for the various facilities and address all queries from the lenders / allied government agencies. Monitor funds requirements across the group and identify areas of improvement in managing the liquidity at all levels.

Major Accountabilities:

1. Good experience of working capital management including arrangement/negotiation with large banks to optimize financial cost for the group. Exposure to various means of raising finances

2. Maintain excellent relationship with all lenders including banks & financial institutions.

3. Draw up and critically analyze financial and cash-flow forecasts and various proposals for submission to the lenders. Ability to lead meetings and discussions with lenders

4. Monitoring and addressing working capital requirement of entire group

5. Bring operational efficiency in the corporate finance vertical.

6. Oversee the record keeping activities and act as a custodian of all records for the vertical

7. Effective utilization of funds, including investment of idle funds to get optimum yield

8. Develop and implement MIS for effective analysis

9. Be updated and interact with various stakeholders and counterparts in operations, other business functions, on regular basis

Required Skills:

1. Experience should be in Debt syndication across domestic and foreign currency syndicated loans.

2. A deep understanding of credit & project finance

3. Leadership skills and ability to work in cross functional teams would be desirable.

4. The candidate should have strong relationships across Indian and Foreign Banks to be able to drive deals.
