About our Client: Our client is a leading corporate and investment bank with rapid expansion of their operations in Indian market. As a part of migration of value added work from the US, UK, Europe and financial centers in APAC and increase in volume of trades globally, they are seeking experienced Investment Banking Operations professionals for their captive centers in India.

Job Description: As VP- Custody Operations reporting into Head of Custody Operations you will be responsible for:

- Understand and apply Business strategies and objectives to the Operations unit

- Liaise with the other onshore functions to ensure effective and seamless delivery of processes

- Ensure effective operational delivery across product and business lines

- Validate, monitor & measure the efficiency and effectiveness of own end-to-end Operations processes

- Work within budgetary targets set by management, participate in and feed information into the budgetary process

- Highlight and escalate operational, regulatory and other risks with the COO, CTB and Management & Strategy functions

- Manage, develop and empower own resources to deliver excellence in Operations in a matrix organization

- Ensure that the processes are in line with all internal and external policies/guidelines and requirements of the regulators/markets

The Successful Candidate:

- You will have a post graduate degree with at least 15 years of experience in Investment Bank/Custodian/Security market intermediary primarily in Clearing, Settlements, Billing and Reporting.

- You will have proven expertise in relationship management & driving multiple projects in Global Custody Operations. Additionally, you will have exceptional communication skills and leadership experience.
