- Drive Company’s Strategy & capability roadmap in the Big Data & Analytics space both from a Technology as well as from our focus Verticals standpoint
- Build a core team that will include Data Scientists and Technology experts who will help provide Thought Leadership, Presales and Delivery of Big Data & Analytics projects for our customers and prospects
- Develop Company’s Point of View in Big Data in our chosen Verticals or in select technologies
- Evangelise Big Data and Analytics services with CXO’s of prospects and customer
- Support the sales organization and verticals in identifying and developing new business opportunities for Digital Enterprise Transformation services.
- Work closely with the DE core team to refine value propositions based on market and industry intelligence in the Big Data space
- Maintain and develop relationships with C-suite level executives.
- Develop & manage Technology Alliances in line with the strategy with Predictive and real time Analytics players like SAS, SAP, Oracle, Netezza & other Niche players and also Data Visualization players like Tableau, Qlikview etc
- Drive deal pursuits of Big Data projects
- Work collaboratively with other Units especially on building competencies in skills like Hadoop, Splunk etc
- Identify R&D areas in Big Data or Analytics
- 15-18 years of Work Experience with the last 3 -4 years in similar capacity preferably in an Indian Tier 1 or Global Tier 1 company offering similar services
- Has clarity of thought, and will be able to communicate complex Big Data and Analytics concepts to senior business executives & CXO’s in a lucid and persuasive manner
- Always finds a way to win, achieve objectives and milestones, through strong leadership, excellent execution and, whenever necessary, through experimentation, adaptation and collaboration.
- Will be a dynamic candidate who can excel in this position through a balance of building on past experiences and continuing to innovate in response to the ever-changing market and industry conditions.
- Is a Self-starter who is energetic and committed to building a significant business and sustainably maintain success.
- Is able to conduct substantive business transformation discussions in the Big Data and Analytics dimension decision makers and key stakeholders within the industry.
- Experience on consultative selling and leadership selling will be most important would be an added advantage
- Must be adept in facilitating closure of new business deal.
- Persuasive presenter with demonstrated talent in establishing relationships over the phone and in person
- Proven track record in performance based environment
- Willing to travel extensively.
- Must be a Masters in Engineering or Statistics with at least 10 years of experience in BI & DW, Data management, Data analytics, Predictive modelling and big data.
- Should have good experience in Big Data and Analytics Technologies as provided in the job profile and Should have done at least 3 Big Data projects on his own
- Should have worked in one of our core Verticals of Manufacturing/Retail/Insurance
