Educational Highest Qualification: Post graduation in Marketing from top colleges (IIM/IMT) is Mandatory
The candidate should have:
- 3 years+ experience in itinerary development, client handling for outbound/domestic holiday package sales
- 2 years+ experience in managing sales team of >4 team members
- 2 years+ relationship management with b2b partners - travel agents
- A good knowledge of world geography and destination knowledge of internatinal tourist destinations
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
- Passionate, self-drive and committed to succeed in a challenging environment
Job Description:
Manage 200+ travel agencies who would be working under your supervision:
- Acquire new agents for new destinations
- Maintain relationship with current travel agents - Read agents' performance reports and help agents grow
Funnel / Analytics:
- Deep understanding of funnels and conversion process in holiday packages
- Ability to read numbers and identify good and bad leads - Come up with plan to improve funnels. Mentor a team of 6-8 sales members for holiday packages (domestic + outbound)
- Ownership of each individual's targets and active contribution in their sales improvement
- Structuring out targets for next month
- Polishing sales pitch and iron out various issues
- Groom new hires
- A game changer who can take ownership, lead and build great solutions for daily challenges
