About our Client - Our client is a Leading Global Investment Banking, Securities and Investment Management firm providing a wide range of services worldwide to clients. Their client case is diversified including corporates, financial institutions, government and high net worth individuals. With a strong global presence they are looking at a seasoned Financial Control / Legal Entity Control professional to join within their team in Bangalore.

Job Description - Your key responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring that financial reporting is of high quality and meets applicable accounting principles and regulations

- Performing control functions of financial reporting while working closely and managing relationships with Product Control, Operations, Tax & Technology

- Supporting the middle desk conduct regular reviews for new, as well as existing, transactions for accounting treatment and control considerations across various types of investments

- Managing the regular preparation and submission of consolidated and non-consolidated US GAAP financial reporting and disclosures (local GAAP wherever required)

- Providing variance analysis and preparing management reporting packs on monthly/quarterly basis

- Performing the quarterly Balance Sheet substantiation & SOX process

- Analyze inter company balances, reconciliations, daily funding payments and resolving breaks Perform month-end process to properly reflect the Balance Sheet, P&L and Owner's Equity

- Leading a team of professionals

The Successful Candidate :

- You are a CA with 8+ years of experience in the Financial controls (preferably Consolidations) within the BFSI/Consulting space.

- Basic industry knowledge and strong accounting knowledge is required .

- Knowledge of US GAAP & IFRS is a definite plus. You are a skilled communicator and a hands-on leader. You will be willing to work long hours in a challenging work space. You will be self-motivated and display an eagerness to learn/grow
