VP/ AVP, Finance Shared Services Projects with Leading Global Delivery center of MNC Bank

Location: Mumbai

Position: - VP/ AVP – Finance Shared Services Projects (Transitions, Process Re-engineering, Change Management & Internal reporting)

Job Purpose & Key Responsibilities:

- Handle transition projects, process reengineering projects, Internal Reporting, Change Management and other areas of finance shared services business management.

1. Transition Management

Project Management

- Manage multiple finance transition projects and demonstrate strong understanding of project life cycle. Implementation of target mandate of global finance projects to achieve key milestones.

- Track project implementation roadmap to maintain resource planner, onboarding tracker, logistics tracker, org chart, change requests log, etc

- Create & maintain various project templates for each transition batch, such as, onshore training plan, sequencing file (for capacity & deliverable’s input/output measures), SOPs, BCP, etc

- Maintain Go-Live schedule to track sign off on agreements and checklists for further scheduling of pre Go-Live meetings.

- Conduct regular project meetings and provide weekly transition dashboards to key stakeholders. Communicate project impact or project risks to program team/clients. Timely internal and external escalation.

- Identify & highlight project risks or any impact on business case with mitigation plans or change control requests.

- Coordination with Onshore Finance team, Local Operations, Functional teams like IT, HR, Admin etc for project requirements.

Solution Design

- Engage in process qualification exercise during solution design phase.

- Review Input & Output deliverables for defining performance indicators and capacity estimation.

2. Process Re-engineering

Project Management

- Process re-engineering projects for driving process improvements and achieve productivity gains (with overall planning, proofing/testing, documentation with necessary workflows and change management controls). Maintain quantification of re-engineering benefits log.

- Identifying, recommending and implementing reengineering opportunities to improve BAU processes through the redesign of work-flow, process defect elimination, competitive benchmarking, performance metrics development, data collection, etc.

- Support Lean initiatives

- Follow change management methods.

3. Internal Reporting & Governance

Governance

- Develop & maintain service management framework for BAU processes. Track capacity and process performance against agreed KPIs.

- Ensure that the quality, service and compliance parameters are reported at required levels.

- Schedule steering committee meetings as agreed in Governance model.

Dashboard

- Ensure dashboards are created as per agreed frequency for various stakeholders (for monthly/quarterly meetings) post Go-Live.

- Dashboards should mainly cover process performance metrics, KPI reporting, actual v/s estimated capacity, risk/issues, improvement areas, etc

SOP

- Enrich SOP document standards, update the central database / SharePoint.

- Ensure SOPs are review on bi-annual basis and maintain log for changes.

Business Continuity Management (BCM)

- Single point of contact for FSS BCM.

- Maintain tracker for overall BCP requirements (Procurement, IT, testing, etc)

SLA & Compliance

- Ensure onshore & ISPL compliance approvals being obtained before Go-Live

- Maintain record of FSS agreements and compliance matters. Review & maintain logs for FSS Service Level Agreement (SLA), Operating Level Agreement (OLA) and compliance approvals.

Qualifications

- B.Com. (Preferable CA / ICWA / MBA in Finance)

- Strong in Excel (Expert). Efficient in Excel (VBA), Access, Power Point and SharePoint would be also appreciated.

- PMP Certified (Preferable)

Experience:

- Atleast 8 years project management experience in Transitions/Migrations and Business Process Reengineering

Technical knowledge & Skills:

- Strong in Excel (Expert). Efficient in Excel (VBA), Access, Power Point and SharePoint would be also appreciated

- Strong project management skills

- Strong in preparing presentations. Having experience in developing and delivering presentations to senior management.
