Location – B’lore

Shift Timings – 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. IST (should be flexible)

Exp. Range – Minimum of 11-12 years of exp.

As an Application Developer, you will provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing and supporting applications within a new technology environment. You will utilize mature programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation.

You will participate in planning sessions with team members to analyze business requirements and contribute to the proposed IT solution. You will participate in design reviews and provide input to the high level design recommendations. You will document the detailed application specifications and develop high quality code that adheres to architectural approaches and coding policies/standards. You will participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to design specifications. You will thoroughly unit test application code and participate in IST testing to ensure at least 70% code coverage prior to QA. You will support the QA phase by fixing defects assigned to you throughout the testing phase of the project. You will identify efficiencies and improvements to design documentation and coding methodologies/practices. You will mentor less experienced developers on the team.

Qualifications

- Minimum 8 - 12 years of application development work experience

- Minimum 5- 7 years of Internet application development work experience

- Solid experience in Java / J2EE Web Development.

- Experience with JSF 1.2 or JSF 2.1 is MUST.

- Hands-on knowledge of HTML, Java script and CSS.

- Solid experience in enterprise level J2EE platforms using J2EE design patterns

- Solid experience in Java design, coding, testing and debugging techniques

- College degree in related technical/business areas

- Knowledge of release management version and revision control practices and procedures

- Proficient knowledge of development life cycles

- Experience with a relational database

- Strong SQL knowledge
