About our Client - Our client is a leading bank with a huge global presence and are now looking to add a VP to head their assurance team. The role would be based out of Pune.

Reporting into Head of Finance, the broad responsibilities would include:
- Maintaining active communication with onshore audit teams and other stakeholders throughout the audit to manage expectations, meet reporting deadlines, and lead change efforts effectively
- Analyze and assess audit risk and draft risk mitigating procedures accordingly
- Ensuring that regulatory and contractual reporting requirements are met
- Making recommendations on process improvements and serving as a business advisor to the onshore audit teams and clients on US GAAP accounting of significant transactions
The Successful Candidate - You are Qualified CA with over 12+ years
- Sound understanding of laws and statutory regulations pertaining to financial management, accounting, audit, compliance, taxation, accounting standards and application including international accounting and IFRS / US GAAP is preferable.
- You should also have a proven track record of influencing individuals to drive results and good communication and presentation skills.
