We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Business Analyst - AML & Sanctions Policy Implementation.

Principal Responsibilities

Reporting to the AML & Sanctions Project Manager the successful candidate is expected to:

- Enable the implementation of the new AML and Sanctions policy within GBM across business, products and functions (KYCS, Service Delivery, Financial Crime Compliance) where there are no major infrastructure dependencies

- Work closely with the in-country Banking business management, product and functional SMEs to confirm that the proposed implementation approach will work in-country to deliver the required policy outcome and where it doesn- t work with the local business, products and functions to refine approach accordingly

- Work closely with the regional team to ensure alignment with regional and global implementation guidelines for all aspects of the AML and Sanctions policy

- Work closely with the PM to ensure necessary buy-in and prioritisation of resources from local business, product and functional leadership so that the implementation timelines can be met

- Understand new the full scope of the AML and Sanctions policy that needs to be implemented, how that will impact the GBM business and supporting functions what it means for the GBM business and supporting functions to implement effectively

- Work closely with the regional program team to understand how each aspect of the policy is being proposed to be implemented in country

- Work with business and functions to ensure effective implementation of policy

- Where required provide required support to the customization and implementation of necessary training

- Work with regional team and local PM and business to demonstrate effective policy implementation in line with defined success criteria

- Provide clear status update to in-country PM on progress vs plan and of all key risks and issues to ensure they are effectively mitigated

- Engagement and buy-in of all key stakeholders throughout the project to ensure they are aware of the impact of the change and of what the programme expects from them and their teams to make this successful
